Residential substance abuse treatment center for women

Recognized as one of Minnesota’s only treatment centers devoted to women and families, the Recovering Hope staff recognizes women seeking recovery have unique social, emotional and financial needs. To address those needs, Recovering Hope uses specialized curriculum that is specific to women and their experiences. In addition the RHTC staff is trained in gender-specific and trauma-informed theories and interventions.

Recovering Hope also allows residential clients and their young children under the age of five to live together during treatment. That means clients have the ability to keep their families together while they work to improve their health.

Position: LADC

Recovering Hope Treatment Center is currently looking for a full-time Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC) for their family treatment program in Mora, MN.

Recovering Hope Treatment Center provides co-occurring treatment services for women. Women are also allowed to live with their children on-site while receiving their treatment services. This is an ideal position for someone who enjoys working with women and children, has a good sense of humor, and enjoys being part of a collaborative team!

Recovering Hope Treatment Center is located on 80 acres and has an innovative and newer building. We care about our community and our mission.

This position requires a valid LADC, and this person is scheduled to work Monday-Friday during the day. There is an on-call component once every seven weeks, which requires carrying the on-call phone and answering questions from direct-care staff if they need assistance during off-hours. Finally, this position works one Saturday every seven weeks.

Compensation: $55k-60k, salaried

Hours: Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm

Position: Recovery Advocate (RA) 11pm – 7am

We’re looking for talented, committed, and caring people to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

· Daily, direct client contact – monitor client behavior and performance of their responsibilities in the program;

· Collaboration with other staff members to ensure clients are getting the most out of their recovery and are living and learning in a safe and respectful environment;

· Help develop parenting skills with the women we serve

· Documentation and record keeping

· Medication Administration

· Cleaning duties as assigned

· Transportation to various outside appointments and activities.

Required Qualifications:

· High school diploma or GED;

· 18 year of age or older;

· Ability to pass a background check;

· Minimum of 2 years free from substance abuse;

· Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record; and

· Physical ability to perform the responsibilities of the position which include: bending, stooping, sitting, walking, and lifting at least 30 pounds.

Position: LADC Intern

Recovering Hope Treatment Center is looking for individuals to join our team as alcohol and drug counseling interns. We are a gender-specific, co-occurring treatment program on a beautiful campus in Mora, MN. We provide services to individual, pregnant, and parenting women in a family treatment setting.

Recovering Hope Treatment Center has a newer facility, innovative programming, and a fun and strong team. We are excited for the opportunity to expand our team with qualified interns.

We provide weekly supervision, growth opportunities, intern office space, and the possibility of a paid internship during the second semester.
