Join us June 15–18th, for a 30-hour in-person training on Adolescent Development in Substance Use Disorder Treatment hosted by Recovering Hope Treatment Center in Mora, Minnesota. Carmichael Finn, MA, LMFT, LADC, AADCR-MN, Executive Director of Recovering Hope Treatment Center, will lead a training designed for Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselors (LADCs) and SUD professionals, this four-day training builds the specialized skills needed to effectively assess, engage, and treat adolescents in substance use disorder settings. From understanding the developing brain to navigating family systems, co-occurring mental health conditions, and the ethical and legal responsibilities unique to working with minors, this training covers it all, and satisfies Minnesota Statute 245G.18 requirements, qualifying LADCs to provide treatment services to adolescents in Minnesota, making it not just a professional development opportunity, but a licensure milestone.
